LAS VEGAS, May 7 /PRNewswire/ -- When the adventure-seeking members of
Maverick Business Adventures(TM) (MBA) descend upon Las Vegas from May
15-19, the primary mission of the "Maverick Airborne Action" adventure will
be to network with like-minded businesspeople and check a few items off
their personal "Bucket Lists."
But, right in the middle of achieving weightlessness in a zero-G
chamber, participating in a dogfight with licensed fighter pilots and
meeting X-Prize Founder Peter Diamandis, the members will take time to give
back to the next generation of entrepreneurs.
On May 17, MBA will offer a free seminar on entrepreneurship for
students at several local schools including the Univ. Las Vegas Center for
Entrepreneurship, the College of Southern Nevada Dept. of Business Admin
and the Clark County School District Career and Technical Education Dept.
Students will meet more than two dozen successful millionaire
entrepreneurs from a wide variety of fields by asking questions as to how
these entrepreneurs achieved success.
"Although we all succeeded through hard work, we feel a responsibility
to share our knowledge with the next generation of entrepreneurs," said
Silver. "When most of us were in school, entrepreneurship was not taught
and very often was shunned. We applaud these schools for their programs and
hope we can help inspire their students."
A self-described "adventure junkie" Silver has found that his own
life-changing experiences such as running with the bulls, bungee jumping,
sky diving, and zero-gravity flights have brought a profound sense of
accomplishment and led to breakthroughs in ideas, focus and business
thinking. This inspired him to create MBA for like-minded entrepreneurs.
Part of the MBA mission is to give back to empower future
entrepreneurs. MBA achieves this through live and virtual educational
products and programs and by donating 5% of all gross revenues to
self-sustaining charities members select. In addition, during every MBA
trip, the group hosts a session f or young adults in the community to share
their knowledge.
The Maverick Business Adventures(TM) club is structured to be an
exclusive group and membership is by-application-only, limited to top
entrepreneurs, CEOs and business owners with proven abilities and success.
Members join professionally orchestrated, all-inclusive adventure outings
that encourage high-level networking and powerful connections. For details
